1.What are you most proud of in your Lesson 2 Presentation and why?
I am most proud of how comfortable I was during my presentation. I was comfortable enough in front of the whole class that I wasn't nervous at all. I have finally managed to realize when I am talking to fast and then take the time to breath and slow down.
2. A.
What assessment would you give yourself on your Lesson 2 Presentation (self-assessment)?
AE P AP CR NC
B. Explain why you deserve that grade using evidence from the Lesson 2 component contract.
I feel like I deserve a P because I did meet all of the requirement on the component contract.
3. What worked for you in your Lesson 2?
I feel that both activities really worked well for me and they both were really able to catch the audiences attention while keeping them interested throughout the presentation. The first one(hook) was really interesting for them while the second one(activity) really had them communicate with their group to figure out the worksheet together.
4. What didn't work? If you had a time machine, what would you have done differently to improve your Lesson 2?
I feel like I would have gone more into depth on some of the content. I really didn't want to just because it can get confusing but I feel like I really could have and should have but even though i didn't it did go very well.
5. What do you think your answer #2 is going to be?
I believe that my second answer will have to relate to the products or techniques used while applying makeup to a client. As of now I have a couple possible ideas but am not fully set one one answer.

Extra Blog Post: January
After looking I finally found another person to help mentor me. She goes by the name of Cathy Martinez. She did attend a beauty school and is licensed to do makeup as well as hair. She is self employed. I am spending most of my mentorship with her but I do visit my other mentor once in awhile. I had no problems with my other mentor I just feel like I need to experience my mentorship with different makeup artist. I feel that this will be beneficial to me because I will view different makeup artists in the setting they personally enjoy to work, what works for them and more.

Blog 12: Mentorship 10 hours check
1. Where are you doing your mentorship?
I am doing my mentorship at beautybyjill which is really at my mentors house.
2. Who is your contact?
Name: Jill Anderson
Phone Number: (626) 502-8194
Email: Jill@beautybyjill.com
3. How many total hours have you done?
I have completed twenty hours in total. The ten from summer are included.
4. Summarize the 10 hours of service you did.
My mentorship consists of me going to my mentors house. She works out of her home so her clients meet her there or she meets them at a certain location. I then go and observe and take pictures. I often help her clean her equipment. I also talk or ask her any questions that I have. If I don't understand something she preforms it on me so that I then learn how to do it on myself. We are also planning on going to conventions and weddings so that I can assist her while she works out of her house.

Blog 11: Holiday Project Update
Content:
1. It is important to consistently work on your senior project, whether it is break or we are in school. What did you do over the break with your senior project? I honestly did not work on my senior project during the break. I was extremely sick and wasn't even able to get out of bed the whole entire break. Even though I wasn't able to work on it during the break I do believe It is important to work on it constantly. I was still able to just work on my research notebook and make sure everything is up to date.
2. What was the most important thing you learned from what you did, and why? What was the source of what you learned? I learned that it is very difficult to find valid information on the topic of my choice. Anyone can just talk about makeup and how to apply it. I find it very useful when I use the books that my mentor lends me. They are the ones she used while in beauty school.
3. If you were going to do a 10 question interview on questions related to answers for your EQ, who would you talk to and why?
I would just talk to many more licensed makeup artists who are well experienced in their field. Many who have hard times getting business and promoting herself to even when he/she is just starting off doing makeup.
